Body
Project Summary:
This project seeks to understand the physiological mechanisms underlying muscle spasms and spasticity and investigate non-invasive, non-pharmacological techniques to meaningfully manage these complications after spinal cord injury. One possible method is the use of focal vibration of muscles or tendons to activate inhibitory circuits within the spinal cord.
