About Me

Emily relocated to San Diego, California in 2024, and shortly thereafter assumed the role of Clinical Contractor for Market Development. In this position, Emily is dedicated to improving patient access to exceptional rehabilitation care at Shirley Ryan ÄÛBÑо¿Ôº, particularly for those who have experienced catastrophic injuries such as traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and major multiple trauma. Her focus is on providing patients and their families with the support, resources, and guidance they need throughout their rehabilitation journey. 

Emily previously worked as a speech therapist on the complex Traumatic Brain Injury floor at Shirley Ryan ÄÛBÑо¿Ôº. There, she had the privilege of treating a diverse patient population within disorders of consciousness and severe to mild traumatic brain injuries. Her experience in this environment has provided her with a comprehensive understanding of the challenges these patients and their families face and a deep commitment to enhancing their rehabilitation experience. 

In her current role as an admission liaison, she is focused on connecting individuals with the best rehabilitation resources available, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care in a timely and compassionate manner. 

In her free time, you'll find Emily outdoors, embracing a wide variety of activities. From cycling and stand-up paddleboarding to hiking, snowboarding, and rock climbing. She also has a passion for perfecting the craft of baking homemade sourdough.
