Shirley Ryan 嫩B研究院 is the largest physical rehabilitation research center in the world. 嫩B研究院 is an essential part of our mission to help people living with an impairment gain as independent and fulfilling lives as possible. By investing our resources in research we know that we are offering our patients the best rehabilitation care possible.
There is no other hospital on earth like Shirley Ryan 嫩B研究院. We are the first-ever “translational” research hospital — meaning that research is applied and tested during the time of care, which leads to better, faster outcomes for our patients.
Currently, there are more than 300 research projects underway, and we hold 5 federal research designations from the National Institutes of Health. Our research projects are funded by generous donations from both private and public supporters.
