Objective
Shirley Ryan Ability Lab and Northwestern University are conducting a research study that will investigate a new approach for how to control robots. We are looking for participants with no history of neuromotor impairments or any other conditions that affect arm, shoulder or upper trunk mobility or vision, who are able to operate joystick, headarray, and sip-and-puff interfaces, and be able to wear an eye gaze tracking device for the requested time, and move their upper body while either wearing a motion tracking system or their motion is tracked by cameras.
Your participation will be used to learn and evaluate this new approach to robot behavior learning.
Participants in this study will:
- Observe the motion of a robot.
- Operate a control interface.
