Nordic Walking class improves your walking endurance, balance, posture and agility by adding poles to produce a great full-body workout. This 11-week session is designed to increase your stamina, confidence walking and strengthen your full body, while improving your posture and flexibility. This can positively impact your ability to perform daily activities such as long-distance walks, stepping on and off curbs, crossing a wide street, sightseeing, walking upstairs, keeping up with family and friends during walks, and is important to maintain your independence. Learn balance, strengthening and gait exercises as you safely navigate through agility courses, and small obstacles using Nordic poles.
