Cindy Sneller joined the Shirley Ryan ÄÛBÑо¿Ôº team in 2017. Cindy is a Registered Nurse with more than 20 years' experience, including bedside nursing in acute inpatient rehabilitation (specializing in stroke and brain injury); hematology-oncology (chemotherapy administration and post-bone-marrow transplant unit); and pulmonary intensive care, in which she pursued advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) training. She has also served as a mentor to new nurses and was nominated for "Best Nurse" by medical residents at University of Chicago. Cindy is passionate about helping people become the best they can be.

As an Admission Liaison, Cindy works with patients, families and referral sources (for example, physicians, case managers and social workers) throughout the admission process. She meets with patients and families at their current hospital to explain what Shirley Ryan ÄÛBÑо¿Ôº has to offer and help them make the best decision for the next step of their journey. Cindy believes the care we provide at Shirley Ryan ÄÛBÑо¿Ôº is best in the world, and she enjoys seeing patients advance their abilities during their experience with us.
