Smartphone-Based Program Effective in Helping People Stick to Healthy Behaviors to Improve Stroke Recovery
A smartphone-based, coach-supported educational program called iSMART (Self-Management Augmented Rehabilitation Technologies) is a low-cost, effective way to help people manage their chronic symptoms, emotions, and engagement in daily activities after a stroke, according to a new paper published in JMIR Rehabilitation and Assistive Technologies.

While there are few randomized controlled studies that look at interventions to treat moderate to severe depression in people with spinal cord injury (SCI), a new study in the Archives of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation found that therapies delivered online and the antidepressant venlafaxine XR appear promising.

CROR’s Rehabilitation 嫩B研究院 and Training Center on Home and Community Based-Services (HCBS) is funded by a 5-year, $4,375,000 grant from the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living and Rehabilitation 嫩B研究院. The Center is now in its fourth year.
